fabric play

A little fabric play time.  My favorite part about designing (well, one of them) is coming up with a color theme.  I find it so exciting to see how colors will play off each other in certain textures and weights - it's all about creating a mood (and there is very delicate balance)!  Below is a little sample of ideas for a project I'm working on ...









You can see more of these playful ideas and more about this project here.  Also, the graphic patterns shown are from Madeline Weinrib's Organic Blockprint Collection.  I'm pretty much drooling over these fabrics and her rugs because they are amazing and add so much character.

Some others posted are some 100% Tyrone irish linens that you can find from Pindler and Pindler (trade only) and some at the local Lewis and Sheron Fabrics.  You can never go wrong adding in some linens to a room ... just wonderful.
